"In 10 sessions you will feel the difference, in 20 sessions you will see the difference, and in 30 sessions you will have a new body."

About Joyce

Joyce originally  came  to Pilates as a result of lower back, neck and shoulder pain. Years spent editing documentaries for TV had taken their toll. A physiotherapist recommended pilates and “I never looked back."

"The sense of wellbeing, both physical and emotional that Pilates brought to me made me realise just how divorced from my body I had become.” Joyce was then inspired to further her study and was fortunate enough to  gain a place on the Pilates Foundation matwork teaching training course.  She gained certification as a matwork teacher after completion of a comprehensive one year course at The Place in London where she studied with Hana Jones, Susanne Lahusen and Sonia Noonan. She continues to further her understanding of Pilates by studying with Anoushka Boone. She compliments this by practicing yoga with Susanne Lahusen.

Joyce believes that no matter where an individual starts they have the right to feel as good as possible within their bodies. Every client is treated as an individual. Pilates is non-competitive and modifications and adaptations are designed to meet different needs.

The Pilates Foundation is an international organisation for Pilates teachers and training. A not-for-profit organisation, the Pilates Foundation is committed to establishing and maintaining certification while continuing education standards at the very highest level.
